Burgundy is the color of things that took time

Aged wine, old mahogany, cordovan leather, the spines of the books nobody throws away. Deep red-brown is the shade the world assigns to things that got better by lasting, which is why it reads as taste rather than as effort. It is also genuinely rare on a wrist: bracelet walls are grey, black, and blue, and burgundy stands apart from all three without shouting over them. What it does at a table

Two strands of braided nylon Milan rope and a silver-plated 316L stainless steel D-shackle, like every bracelet in the Fortune collection. The shackle comes in silver, black matte, or gold at checkout, and any D, O, or C shape from bracelet parts swaps in by hand. Gold on burgundy is the library-and-leather pairing; black matte lets the wine carry the whole wrist alone. Nylon and 316L steel: built for water, with one exception

Fortune Red Wine is waterproof in the way that matters daily. The rope is braided nylon, the fiber family used for sailing line, and it barely absorbs water. The shackle is 316L stainless steel, the marine-grade alloy, and it does not rust. Showers, rain, sweat, and fresh water are non-events. The one exception is salt water: it will not destroy the bracelet, but salt crystallizes inside a braid as it dries and dulls both the color and the plating over time. Take it off before the ocean if you want it to keep looking the way it arrived.

Keeping a deep red deep

Burgundy lives on its depth, and depth is what oil takes first: sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream settle into a braid, hold dust, and flatten a rich color into a dull one. The habit costs two seconds and protects everything: the bracelet goes on last, after anything you spray or rub in. If it flattens, work it gently with a damp cloth and a little mild soap and let it air dry away from heat, and the depth comes back.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Shower, rain, sweat, fresh water: no action needed. Salt water: take it off, or rinse it in fresh water after and let it air dry.
• Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. No bleach, no machine wash.
• Wipe the shackle with a soft dry cloth. It needs nothing else.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag rather than loose, where a braid collects dust.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The Fortune shackle is 316L stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the alloy dermatologists point to as the safe default for reactive skin and continuous daily wear.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
