Two materials, one of which is alive

The 316L stainless steel frame needs nothing from you. It does not rust and does not lose its spring. The bronze tone is a finish on that steel, and a finish is a surface. The python leather bonded to the frame is skin. Between the surface and the skin, the steel is the only part that looks after itself.

Python is not waterproof

Do not swim in it, shower in it, or leave it soaking. Water pulls the natural oils out of leather; the fiber stiffens as it dries, and the next flex cracks it. On a cuff the damage appears first where the arc curves most, and at the scale edges. Occasional rain is not a problem. Repeated soaking, and heat applied to wet leather, are what ruin an exotic-skin bracelet. Caligio builds an entire waterproof bracelets collection for the wrist that lives in water.

Protecting a bronze finish

Bronze tone is applied to the steel rather than being the steel, so treat it the way you would treat any coated metal. Soap, chlorine, and cleaning products go after a finish long before they reach the alloy underneath. A dry cloth is all it ever needs, and polishing compounds are the one thing that can genuinely remove the tone.

Care

• Take it off before water, and put it on after cologne, sunscreen, and hand cream.
• If it gets wet, blot with a towel and dry at room temperature. Never a radiator, a hairdryer, or direct sun.
• Wipe along the scales with a dry cloth, never against them. A cloth run backward lifts scale edges.
• Wipe the bronze frame with a soft dry cloth only. No polish, no dips, no ultrasonic cleaner.
• Condition the leather two or three times a year with a colorless balm.
• Store it flat in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
