Why green and steel agree

Green is the only cord color in this collection with a cool base and a warm reading at the same time. That double nature is why polished silver steel suits it: the metal keeps the cool side honest while the color supplies the warmth. It is also why green is the easiest bright cord to wear with brown leather, the one combination that defeats most colors on a wrist.

Why two rows

One row of chain turns on the wrist until its edge faces up. Two rows of round box chain held together by woven cord stay flat, so the green line keeps running straight between the silver rows through a day of hauling, typing, and driving. A double chain also carries more presence than a single one of the same link size, which is why this bracelet reads as a real piece of hardware without being heavy.

Where it sits in your rotation

This is the chain for weekends outside and the clothes that go with them. If your hardware runs warm, the Anchor Chain Gold & Green takes the color toward jewel tones instead. 316L surgical stainless steel

The chain and clasp are made from 316L surgical stainless steel, the medical-grade alloy used in surgical implants and premium watch cases. Its high chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer on the surface, which is why 316L does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green. It contains no nickel available to the skin and no copper, so it is safe for sensitive wrists and continuous daily wear.

Natural steel finish

This variant carries no coating at all. The silver tone is the color of the alloy itself, polished, which means there is no plating layer that can wear through and no finish that can change color over time. What arrives on your wrist is what the bracelet will look like in ten years.

Woven cord

Green marine-grade cord runs between the two rows of links, dyed through the fiber rather than coated on the surface, so there is no layer to scratch away. Mid-tone colors like this one show everyday marks least of all the cords in the collection, sitting between the extremes that reveal them.

Care

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. This is the only routine care the piece needs.
• Showers, rain, sweat, and pool water are fine for both the steel and the cord.
• Rinse with fresh water and pat dry after salt water or chlorine.
• Put it on after cologne, sunscreen, or lotion, once the skin is dry.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sunlight and away from pieces that could scratch the chain.
• Skip bleach, alcohol, abrasive cleaners, and ultrasonic jewelry machines. None of them are needed.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys, and fading comes from thin electroplating. This piece uses neither. If you have reacted to jewelry before, 316L steel is the alloy dermatologists point to as the safe default, and the hypoallergenic range at Caligio is built on it.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
