Vintage Alfa is named for alpha, the opening letter of the Greek alphabet, and it opens Caligio's Vintage line the way it deserves: a twisted steel cable cuff finished with ornate end caps, white stone cabochons set in gold-accented crowns. It is the silhouette of estate jewelry, the cable bangle with jeweled ends that has been passed across generations, rebuilt in solid 316L stainless steel so the heirloom look arrives without the heirloom age.

The cable is an open cuff that adjusts by gently bending to your exact fit, which changes what this bracelet is: a piece you can give without knowing a size. It suits any man or woman, sits as naturally on a smaller wrist as on a larger one, and removes the single biggest fear of jewelry gifting. You cannot get the size wrong, because there is no size to get wrong.

Half of a pair, by name and by design

Alfa and Beta, the first two letters of the alphabet, are built as a pair: Alfa in white stone and gold, the day half; Vintage Beta in black stone and antiqued steel, the night half. Steel that needs nothing, caps that ask for one habit

The cable is solid 316L stainless steel: no tarnish, no rust, no polishing, ever. The end caps carry white stone cabochons and gold accents, and they are the reason for the one recommendation this bracelet has.

Water: most things, two exceptions

Showers, rain, sweat, and fresh water are non-events. Salt water and pool chlorine are the exceptions: salt is abrasive as it dries and chlorine films polished stone, and both slowly dull the caps that give Alfa its character. Take it off for the ocean and the pool, or rinse in fresh water right after, and the details stay crisp for years.

Bend with respect

The cuff adjusts by bending, and the right way is small moves: ease it a little at a time toward the fit you want, rather than one big flex. Set it once for your wrist and it rarely needs setting again. The caps like a wipe with a soft dry cloth when sunscreen or cologne film them; the bracelet goes on last.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Shower and fresh water: fine. Ocean and pool: take it off, or rinse in fresh water after.
• Adjust the bend in small, gentle moves; set it once, not daily.
• Wipe the stone caps with a soft dry cloth to keep them bright.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, where the caps will not knock against other jewelry.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. Vintage Alfa is 316L stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the alloy dermatologists point to as the safe default for reactive skin.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
