Prime Weaving XL is the boldest braid in the Prime line at full length: the wide, flat weave of glossy black leather, the screw-pin D-shackle engraved with the Caligio name, and the green and brown cord whipping at the ends, sized for wrists up to 8.5 inches. A big braid belongs on a big wrist

Rope-scale strands need a frame that carries them, and a wide wrist is the weave's natural home: the braid lies flat, the crossings show their full rhythm, and the proportion looks intended rather than oversized. This is one of the rare designs that arguably looks its best at XL.

The sailing clasp

The screw-pin D-shackle is the fastener sailing crews have trusted for two centuries: unscrew the pin, thread it through, tighten. A few seconds to put on, a firm mechanical hold all day, and the reason the whole bracelet reads nautical rather than merely woven.

Leather rules, steel exceptions

The D-shackle is stainless steel and needs nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The braid is genuine leather, and leather has one law: it lives long and looks better with age if it stays dry.

Prime Weaving XL is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. A braid this thick holds moisture deep in the weave and dries slowly, stiffening as it goes. Occasional rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. Heat is worse than water: never dry leather near a radiator or leave it on a dashboard in summer.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Never dry it near heat: radiators and dashboards crack leather.
• Buff with a soft dry cloth; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps the braid supple.
• Check the shackle pin is snug now and then; it threads tight in seconds.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin, and the braid is natural leather.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
