The one Legacy that is not leather

Every other bracelet in this line is a rope of woven genuine leather. Hi Tech is the exception: black rubber cord braided together with stainless steel cable, closed with the same 316L steel box clasp. The steel is not a coating or a finish, it is one of the strands, which is why the silver appears from inside the weave and shifts as the wrist turns rather than reflecting flatly off a surface.

The bracelet you never take off

Leather asks to be kept dry. Rubber and steel do not. This is the Legacy for the gym, the pool deck, the boat, and a job that involves your hands, and the one that survives being forgotten in the shower. If the reason you have not worn a bracelet daily is that you did not want to think about it, this is the answer to that.

Black and steel is a technical register

The leather colors in this line are dress pieces in different tones. Hi Tech is not trying to be one. Black with steel running through it reads as equipment rather than as jewelry, which is exactly why it pairs so cleanly with a steel watch, a dark shirt, and denim. It is the least formal piece here and the most durable.

A box clasp, which is what fine jewelry uses

The closure is a box clasp, the mechanism fitted to pieces set with stones and made in gold and silver. On diamond bracelets it is the baseline for responsible construction rather than an upgrade: a folded steel tongue is pushed into a hollow box, the tension in the fold springs it open against the inner walls, and it locks with a click you feel through the braid. Two side buttons release it. Caligio builds it in 316L stainless steel, which is what puts it on a $59 bracelet. The rest of the line, all leather, sits in the Legacy collection.

Rubber and steel, not leather

This is the one piece in the Legacy line with no leather in it, and the care is simpler because of that. There is nothing to condition, nothing to keep dry, and nothing that stiffens if it gets wet. Rubber does not absorb water and stainless steel does not corrode in it.

Water is not a problem

Sweat, rain, a rinse under the tap, a swim: none of it harms the materials. Dry the clasp with a cloth afterward so water does not sit in the mechanism, and that is the whole routine. This is the Legacy you can wear to the gym and forget about.

316L surgical stainless steel

The box clasp and its tongue are machined from 316L surgical stainless steel, the medical-grade alloy used in surgical implants. Its high chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer, which is why 316L does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green. There is no plating on it, so nothing can wear through.

Care

• Rinse it under clean water when it needs it, then dry the clasp with a soft cloth.
• Wipe along the braid with a cloth. Dust settles in the grooves of a weave rather than on the surface.
• Keep solvents, alcohol, and abrasive cleaners away from the rubber cord.
• Keep it away from open flame and sustained high heat.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys, and fading comes from thin electroplating. This piece uses neither. Rubber and 316L stainless steel are both skin-safe, which makes this a straightforward choice for reactive wrists.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
