Two straps, one idea

The Egoist is Caligio's most minimal leather design: two parallel bands of smooth leather running side by side, framing a polished screw shackle between them. The doubled strap gives the wrist the visual weight of a good watch band without the bulk, and the clean geometry, two lines and a piece of steel, is why this bracelet moves between a t-shirt and a blazer without changing register.

Tan is the casual voice of the line

The Egoist Tan Brown wears the lightest leather of the four colorways, the warm saddle tone of belts, boots, and weekend bags, bound with burnt-orange cord wraps that turn the palette up instead of hiding it. It is denim's best friend, the pairing that makes a white t-shirt look styled, and of the four Egoists it is the one that reads most relaxed.

The clasp you configure yourself

The screw-pin D-shackle, engraved with the Caligio name, is the sailing fastener: unscrew the pin, thread it through, tighten. It is fully customizable, Silver, Black, or Gold at checkout, and gold against tan is the warmest combination the line offers. Spare shackles live in the bracelet parts collection.

Leather rules, steel exceptions

The shackle is stainless steel and needs nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The straps are genuine leather, and leather has one law: it lives long and looks better with age if it stays dry.

The Egoist is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Smooth leather straps handle a splash better than a braid, but soaking swells the fibers and dulls the surface. Occasional rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. Heat is worse than water: never dry leather near a radiator or leave it on a dashboard in summer.

Light leather, one extra habit

Tan shows what darker leather hides, so the one habit matters more here: the bracelet goes on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream. The reward runs the other way too, tan develops the richest patina of the four colorways, deepening toward honey with wear. A soft dry cloth and an occasional drop of colorless conditioner keep the straps supple.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream, without exception.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Never dry it near heat: radiators and dashboards crack leather.
• Buff with a soft dry cloth; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps the straps supple.
• Check the shackle pin is snug now and then; it threads tight in seconds.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin, and the straps are natural leather.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Plenty of Caligio’s Cuff bracelets are adjustable and comfortably fit most of the standard wrist sizes. Slip-on cuff bracelets sizes are easily increased and decreased with bare hands. Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
