The Caligio Rope Bracelets collection brings together every rope and cord bracelet in the catalog - Fortune, Nautical, Gio, Omega, Binate, and Monro - in one place. Two materials: soft cotton cord and marine-grade nylon rope. Two hardware families: D-shackle and screw clasp. One price point: $39 across the entire collection. Whether you want a slim everyday cotton cord, a double-strand nylon rope with serious wrist presence, or a maritime D-shackle design with interchangeable hardware - this is where you find it. All 316L surgical stainless steel hardware, all hypoallergenic, all tarnish-free.
Fortune and Nautical are fully customizable - swap the default D-shackle for a C-type or bow shackle in silver, gold, or black ion-plated finish through the bracelet-parts collection for nine hardware combinations per band. Binate and Gio use adjustable closures that fine-tune fit within each size but are not interchangeable. Omega and Monro use fixed closures. On materials: cotton rope should stay dry - take it off before swimming or showering. Nylon rope handles water contact without damage, though we don't recommend wearing it in the pool or ocean daily. If it gets wet, nothing happens - rinse and air-dry. Designed in California, gift-boxed, ships worldwide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between cotton and nylon rope bracelets?
Cotton is softer, more breathable, and has a matte organic texture - the most comfortable cord on the wrist. Keep cotton dry. Nylon is slimmer, more resilient, and handles water contact without damage - rinse and air-dry after getting wet. Both use the same 316L steel hardware. Pick cotton for feel and breathability, pick nylon if water resistance matters.
What is the difference between Fortune, Nautical, Gio, Omega, Binate, and Monro?
Fortune is double-strand Milan nylon rope with a fully interchangeable D-shackle in 8 colors. Nautical is a maritime heritage cotton or nylon rope with the same customizable D-shackle system. Gio is a slim single-cord cotton or nylon rope with an adjustable screw clasp - the most minimal and versatile everyday pick. Omega is a cotton or nylon rope with a shackle closure in neutral and accent colors. Binate is a double-strand nylon cuff with an adjustable D-shackle for more wrist presence. Monro is a slim nylon cord in warmer colorways with a fixed clasp.
Which rope collections have interchangeable D-shackles?
Fortune and Nautical. Swap the default D-shackle for a C-type or bow shackle in silver, gold, or black ion-plated finish through the bracelet-parts collection. Nine total hardware combinations per band. Binate has an adjustable D-shackle that fine-tunes fit but is not designed for swapping. Gio, Omega, and Monro use fixed closures.
Are rope bracelets waterproof?
Nylon rope bracelets (Fortune, Binate, Gio Nylon, Monro) handle water contact without damage - rain, sweat, splashes are fine. For extended swimming or daily pool use, rinse with fresh water and air-dry. Cotton rope bracelets (Gio Cotton, Nautical Cotton, Omega Cotton) should stay dry - take them off before showering or swimming. The 316L steel hardware is fully waterproof on all models.
What is the D-shackle and why does Caligio use it?
The D-shackle is a marine hardware design used on sailing yachts and climbing harnesses for over two hundred years. The D-shape distributes load along a single axis making it reliable and secure. Caligio adopted it as the signature closure for its rope lines because it looks like nothing else in the accessories category - and because it is actually interchangeable, letting you change the entire look of the bracelet by swapping one piece of hardware.
What size should I order?
Size M fits most men and is the most popular pick across all rope collections. S fits smaller wrists (up to 6.5"-6.7" depending on model). L fits larger wrists (up to 8"). Medium Plus is available on select Nautical models (up to 7.5"-7.6"). Wrap a tape measure around your wrist and match to the size chart on the product page. The D-shackle on Fortune and Nautical gives about one size of extra adjustment room.
Is the hardware hypoallergenic?
Yes. All rope collections use 316L surgical stainless steel hardware - medical-grade alloy, nickel-free and copper-free. No green-wrist reaction, no skin irritation. Cotton and nylon cord materials are also skin-safe. Suitable for continuous daily wear on sensitive skin.
What colors are available?
Fortune: Black, Grey, Navy Blue, Turquoise, Orange, Red Wine, Yellow, Green. Nautical: Navy Blue, Beige, Grey, Black, White & Blue - each with silver, gold, or black shackle. Gio: Navy Blue, Black, Beige, Grey, Blue & Red, Orange (cotton and nylon). Omega: Black, Grey, Orange, Navy Blue (cotton and nylon). Binate: Blue, Green, Blue Dotted, Green Dotted. Monro: Brown, Royal Blue, Dove.
Can I stack a rope bracelet with other Caligio pieces?
Yes - rope bracelets stack well with leather, steel cuffs, and chain pieces. The slim cord profile leaves room for one or two other pieces. Keep metal finishes consistent: silver shackle with silver hardware elsewhere, gold with gold. Fortune Navy Blue or Gio Grey with an Arc Steel cuff is one of the cleanest combinations in the catalog.
Which rope bracelet should I buy first?
Fortune Navy Blue or Fortune Grey - the two most versatile picks in the collection. Both are bestsellers, both have interchangeable D-shackle hardware, and both pair with the widest range of outfits. Go Gio Grey Cotton if you want the softest, most minimal everyday cord. Go Binate Blue if you want more wrist presence with the double-strand nylon profile. Go Nautical Navy Blue if the maritime D-shackle design resonates.
