Red Tiger Eye and Black Onyx is the boldest stone piece in the men's line: 8mm natural red tiger eye in deep burgundy, run against glossy black onyx and matte lava stone, with three black micro-pave beads and oversized gold-tone metal accents through the center. It is built to be the anchor of a stack or to hold a wrist on its own, and the mix of finishes is the point, silky stone, wet-look onyx, porous lava, and bright metal all in one strand.

What the stones are

Red tiger eye is natural quartz with the chatoyant silky sheen the stone is named for, here in a deep burgundy rather than the usual gold. Black onyx brings the high-gloss black, and lava stone brings a matte porous texture that breaks up the shine. In stone lore tiger eye has long been associated with confidence and steadiness, worn as a stone of nerve.

The hardware

Three black micro-pave beads run through the center and give the piece its focal weight, set off by oversized gold-tone metal beads. It closes with a gold rectangular clasp on an adjustable black cord, so the fit tightens and loosens by hand across the 6 to 7 inch range.

Four textures, one rule: keep them dry

Red tiger eye, black onyx, lava stone, and gold-tone metal each behave differently, but they share a single instruction. Lava is porous and holds water and soap; onyx and tiger eye are natural stone whose polish dulls with repeated soaking; the cord runs through all of them. None of it is improved by water, so this is a keep-dry bracelet.

Take it off before water

Remove it before showering, swimming, and the pool. Occasional rain is not a problem. For a wrist that lives in water, Caligio builds an entire waterproof bracelets collection in steel and marine cord.

Keeping the shine

Oils are what dull polished stone and gold-tone metal, so put the bracelet on last, after cologne, sunscreen, and hand cream. Wipe the beads with a soft dry cloth to bring the onyx and tiger eye back to a shine. Leave the porous lava beads alone; they are meant to read matte.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. On this bracelet the natural stone beads sit against the skin for most of its length, with the gold-tone metal beads and clasp as accents.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
