One length, easy to wear

At 18 inches, this is a classic princess length that sits right at the collarbone, the most versatile position for a necklace: flattering on almost everyone and easy with both open and higher necklines. Silver or gold-plated

The silver version is genuine S925 sterling silver, nickel-free and kind to sensitive skin. The gold version is 18k gold plating over that same sterling silver, so it carries a real gold finish; being plated, it lasts longest with gentle, dry care rather than heavy polishing.

Care by finish

Rome comes in two finishes, and each likes slightly different care. The silver version is solid sterling silver; the gold version is 18k gold plating over sterling silver.

The silver version

Sterling silver can tarnish slowly with air and moisture, which is normal and reversible. Buff it with a soft silver-polishing cloth to bring back the shine, keep it away from chlorine and chemicals, and store it dry.

The gold-plated version

Gold plating sits on the surface, so treat it gently: no abrasive polishing, which can wear the finish, and keep it dry and away from perfume, chlorine, and friction. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and store it flat and separate from harder jewelry.

Care

• Apply perfume, hairspray, and lotion first; put the necklace on last.
• Remove it before swimming, showering, and the sea.
• Silver: buff with a polishing cloth. Gold-plated: wipe gently, do not scrub.
• Store it dry and flat in the Caligio pouch.

A note on materials

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
