Steel, brown leather, black cord: the unexpected trio

Prime Brown Rock takes the construction Caligio built for the Rock line, a polished steel box chain stitched into braided leather by a continuous cord lacing, and warms it up: rich brown braid on both edges, black cord crossing the steel between every link. Three materials, three tones, one weave. Where the black version reads as an evening piece, the brown one reads as heritage: steel and brown leather is the language of workshops, boots, and denim, the Americana end of the same idea.

A construction you will not find elsewhere

The chain is not attached to the leather; it is woven into it, laced link by link so the whole bracelet moves as one piece. Up close the black cord draws a zigzag of stitching over polished steel, the kind of detail that makes people reach for your wrist and ask. It is a Caligio original, and the brown colorway is the version with the most going on: cool steel, warm leather, dark cord, all working.

The C-clasp holds the whole composition

The closure is the Prime signature, the letter C of Caligio in steel: a magnet seats the ends the moment they meet, and a mechanical snap latch locks over the connection. Double fixation, closed with one hand, and on a piece this dimensional the clean clasp matters, because it lets the weave be the only event on the wrist.

Two materials, one rulebook

The box chain and the C-clasp are stainless steel and need nothing: no polishing, no tarnish, ever. The braid and lacing are genuine leather, and in a hybrid the more delicate material writes the rules. Leather's law is simple: it lives long if it stays dry.

Prime Brown Rock is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. The steel would shrug it off, but soaked leather dries stiff, and the lacing that stitches this bracelet together deserves better. Occasional rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. Heat is worse than water: never dry leather near a radiator or leave it on a dashboard in summer.

Brown that deepens around bright steel

Worn regularly and kept dry, the brown braid grows richer with the years while the steel stays exactly as bright, so the contrast that makes this bracelet actually improves with age. Keep sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream off the weave; the bracelet goes on last. The steel brightens with a soft dry cloth; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps the braid supple.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Never dry it near heat: radiators and dashboards crack leather.
• Wipe the chain with a soft dry cloth; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps the braid supple.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The chain and C-clasp are stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin, and the braid is natural leather.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
