Refined gold is uniform, and uniform gold is what most bracelets are trying to imitate. California Golden goes the other way. Its surface is shaped to resemble the small pieces of raw gold that miners once pulled out of California riverbeds: uneven, faceted, catching light at angles a polished band never can. The state built its name on that metal in exactly that condition, which is where this cuff takes both its look and its name.

Thin enough to disappear, present enough to notice

The band is narrow. It sits close to the wrist, slides under a shirt sleeve without catching, and stacks against a watch or another bracelet without crowding it. Where Arc Golden is the clean warm object, California Golden is the one with surface and history in it.

What you are actually wearing

Solid 316L surgical stainless steel in a raw-textured gold-tone finish. No clasp: one continuous open arc that bends by hand, roughly an inch in either direction, and holds the shape you set. Fully waterproof, tarnish-free, and hypoallergenic. Three sizes, unisex, and Medium covers most wrists.

Warm skin, brown leather, black, and denim. 316L surgical stainless steel

California Golden is built on solid 316L surgical stainless steel, the medical-grade alloy used in surgical implants and premium watch cases. Its high chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer, which is why 316L does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green. The gold tone is a finish over that solid steel body, not a coating over a soft base metal.

A texture that works in your favor

The raw finish is not only an aesthetic decision. A broken, uneven surface scatters light instead of reflecting it, so the hairline marks that any bracelet collects against desks, car doors, and keys disappear into the texture rather than sitting on top of it. Gold-tone pieces usually demand care. This one does not.

Waterproof without conditions

No cord, no leather, no clasp. Shower in it, swim in it, train in it. Rinse with fresh water after salt water or chlorine.

Care

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth. The texture needs no polishing and should not be buffed smooth.
• Rinse with fresh water after salt water, chlorine, or heavy sweat.
• Adjust the fit by pressing the open ends slowly and evenly. Set the shape once and leave it, since steel has a memory and repeated bending tires it. A narrow band asks for a gentler hand than a wide one.
• Slide the cuff on over the narrow side of the wrist rather than opening it each time.
• Never use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or ultrasonic jewelry machines. Abrasives are the one thing that can dull a gold-tone surface.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys, and fading comes from thin electroplating over soft metal. This piece uses neither. The body is solid 316L, the alloy dermatologists point to as the safe default for reactive skin and continuous daily wear.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
