The Esthetic Double Braid is the quietest leather bracelet Caligio makes: two slim braided cords of black leather running side by side, closed by a compact polished steel clasp between steel keepers. Where most leather bracelets borrow their width from watch straps, the Esthetic borrows its proportions from fine jewelry, thin enough to disappear under a shirt cuff and reappear at the handshake, which is precisely the rhythm it was designed for.

Old money does not announce

The old-money grammar of accessories is consistent: thin, dark, logo-free, and chosen by someone who has nothing to prove. The Double Braid speaks it fluently. Two fine braids give the wrist texture without volume, the small steel clasp reads as engineering rather than decoration, and the whole piece works the way quiet luxury works, by rewarding the person who looks twice.

Two braids, one reason

A single thin cord can look accidental; a doubled one looks intended. The paired braids lie parallel, catch light on their twists at slightly different angles, and give the minimal design its one flourish, rhythm. The braiding is tight rounded leatherwork, the technique of fine cordwork, done at the smallest scale in the Caligio catalog.

Leather rules, steel exceptions

The clasp and keepers are stainless steel and need nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The cords are genuine leather, and leather has one law: it lives long and looks better with age if it stays dry.

The Esthetic is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Thin braided cords hold moisture in the twist and dry slowly, stiffening as they go. Occasional rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. Heat is worse than water: never dry leather near a radiator or leave it on a dashboard in summer.

Small braids, small habits

Product film is what dulls fine leatherwork: sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream settle into the twists. The bracelet goes on last. A soft dry cloth run along the cords revives them in seconds, and a drop of colorless leather conditioner, worked in once in a while, keeps the braids supple for years.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Never dry it near heat: radiators and dashboards crack leather.
• Run a soft dry cloth along the cords; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps them supple.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The steel here is nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin, and the cords are natural leather.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
