Most products are launched. Omega Black was requested. For years the Omega line ran without an all-black version, and for years customers kept asking for one: the founding thick-rope design, the same steel bow-shackle, but in the one color that goes everywhere. When Caligio finally released it, the debut was long-requested in the most literal sense, and it went straight to a bestseller tag. This page exists because enough men insisted it should.

The Omega that wears a suit

A thick rope bracelet is usually a casual object, and black is what changes that. All-black cotton over steel reads as texture rather than as color, which is why Omega Black crosses the one line the brighter colors cannot: it sits under a dress shirt cuff at a dinner, a wedding, a Monday meeting, and looks intended there. Same weight, same presence, none of the volume. It is the version of the founding design that works all year, through every dress code a week can throw at it.

All black, on purpose

Where Omega Grey carries its orange accent thread and Omega Orange its blue one, Omega Black is exactly what its name says: all black, uninterrupted. Rope, braid, shadow, steel. The restraint is the design, and it is what the customers who requested this color were asking for: the founding bracelet with everything turned down except the shape.

The same build that has worked since 2019

Thick natural cotton rope, soft against the skin from the first hour, closed with a stainless steel screw bow-shackle that is a permanent part of the bracelet: nothing to configure, nothing to decide. It is the construction the Omega collection was founded on, one of eight styles spanning four cotton ropes, two nylon, and two leather. The original grey is Omega Grey, selling since 2019.

Steel that needs nothing, cotton that asks for one habit

The bow-shackle is stainless steel: it does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green, and it will outlive the rope it is holding. The rope is thick natural cotton, and cotton is the whole reason this bracelet feels the way it does, which means its one weakness deserves respect.

Omega Black is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. This is not about the metal. Cotton absorbs, and what it absorbs it keeps: chlorine, salt, whatever the water carried. It dries slowly, stiffens as it dries, and loses the softness that made it comfortable in the first place. Occasional rain is not a problem. Caligio builds an entire waterproof bracelets collection in solid steel for the wrist that lives in water.

Black cotton does not fade. It greys.

A black braid never loses its dye the way a bright one does. What it collects is a fine pale film: sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream settle into the weave and hold dust, and dust on black reads as grey. The bracelet goes on last, after everything you spray or rub in, and comes off first. If it greys, work it gently with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, let it air dry away from heat, and the black comes back.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Take it off before water. If it gets wet, blot with a towel and dry at room temperature, never near heat.
• Spot-clean the cotton with a damp cloth and mild soap. No bleach, no machine wash.
• Wipe the steel with a soft dry cloth. It needs nothing else.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag rather than loose, where cotton collects dust.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The Omega shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin and continuous daily wear, and the cotton rope is a natural fiber against the skin.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
