Beige is the color rope is born in

Before any dye touches it, rope is this color: the pale ecru of raw cotton fiber, the shade of coils on every dock in every harbor photograph ever taken. Wearing the Nautical Beige is wearing the design closest to its source, and it is the summer signature of the fleet, made for linen, white shirts, and sun-browned skin. The whipping at the ends, black, navy, and cream wraps, draws the sharpest contrast of the four colorways.

The steel D-shackle

The screw-pin D-shackle, engraved with the Caligio name, is the fastener sailing crews have trusted for two centuries. Cotton rules, steel exceptions

The shackle is stainless steel and needs nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The rope is natural cotton, and cotton has one law: it keeps its shape and color if it stays dry.

The Nautical is not a swimming bracelet

Ironic for the name, but honest: braided cotton holds water deep in the weave, dries slowly, and stiffens as it goes. Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Keeping pale rope clean

Beige is the color that shows sunscreen and self-tanner fastest, so the one habit matters most here: the bracelet goes on last, after everything you spray or rub in. A soft dry brush lifts dust from the weave; spot-clean with a barely damp cloth and mild soap, and let it air-dry away from heat.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, self-tanner, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Air-dry away from radiators and direct sun.
• Brush the braid with a soft dry brush; spot-clean with a barely damp cloth and mild soap.
• Check the shackle pin is snug now and then; it threads tight in seconds.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, and the rope is natural cotton: the safe combination for reactive skin.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
