Cut, not printed

The stars running along the face of the Texas cuff are not a print, a transfer, or a laser mark on the surface. They are cut into the steel, which means the pattern has depth, catches light from the side, and cannot fade, scratch off, or wash away. Ten years from now this bracelet will carry exactly the ornament it carries today. That is the practical argument for engraving over decoration, and it is the reason Texas is the only patterned piece Caligio makes in this build.

Where the name comes from

The star has meant Texas for two centuries, and the Western revival that television handed back to a new generation put it on wrists that had never been near a ranch. Caligio designed this cuff for that audience: the star repeated across an open steel arc, restrained enough to sit under a suit sleeve and legible enough to mean something at a distance.

What you are actually wearing

Solid 316L surgical stainless steel, polished silver tone, with a star pattern engraved into the face. No clasp: it is one continuous open arc that bends by hand, roughly an inch in either direction, and holds the shape you set. Fully waterproof, tarnish-free, and hypoallergenic. Three sizes, unisex, and Medium covers most wrists.

Where it sits in your rotation

Boots, denim, a leather belt, and a steel watch. Texas also does something few patterned bracelets manage: it reads as plain silver from across a room and as an ornament up close. 316L surgical stainless steel

Texas is solid 316L surgical stainless steel, the medical-grade alloy used in surgical implants and premium watch cases. Its high chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer, which is why 316L does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green. There is no plating here, so the color you see is the metal itself.

The pattern is part of the metal

The stars are cut into the steel rather than printed onto it. Nothing sits on top of the surface, so nothing can flake, fade, or wear thin at the contact points where a bracelet rubs against a desk or a sleeve. Engraved steel is the only ornament that ages at the same rate as the object carrying it.

Waterproof without conditions

No cord, no leather, no coating, no clasp. Shower in it, swim in it, train in it. Rinse with fresh water after salt water or chlorine, and the engraving stays crisp.

Care

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth. To bring the engraving back to full contrast, work the cloth along the pattern rather than across it.
• Rinse with fresh water after salt water, chlorine, or heavy sweat.
• Adjust the fit by pressing the open ends slowly and evenly. Set the shape once and leave it, since steel has a memory and repeated bending tires it.
• Slide the cuff on over the narrow side of the wrist rather than opening it each time.
• Never use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or ultrasonic jewelry machines. Water and a cloth are enough.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys, and fading comes from thin electroplating. This piece uses neither. Solid 316L touches skin around the entire cuff, which is the alloy dermatologists point to as the safe default for reactive skin and continuous daily wear.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
