Infinity Gold Stingray Turquoise Bracelet - the most-chosen color in Caligio's exotic range, created for anyone who wants a bracelet that looks like a stone rather than a strap. Made from genuine stingray leather in turquoise and bonded to a gold-tone 316L steel frame, this unisex leather bracelet carries thousands of calcified beads that catch light as pale points across the color. Its universal adjustable design bends gently to fit any wrist, with no clasp to fasten and nothing to size wrong.

Stingray leather, also called shagreen, is the only material in the collection that is partly mineral: each bead is a hard calcified dome, close to tooth enamel. In turquoise those domes read like the flecked surface of the stone itself, held in a warm metal frame the way turquoise has been set in gold for thousands of years. Against a tan, white linen, denim, or summer tailoring, this turquoise bracelet does the work of a piece of jewelry rather than an accessory. Designed for both men and women, it is the unisex accessory people notice first.

The Infinity Collection is available in multiple python and stingray leather finishes, with a range of colors and textures to match any personal style. The flex-fit universal design means a perfect fit for everyone - no clasp, just bend or unbend to adjust. Each bracelet arrives in a signature Caligio gift box, which makes it a ready gift for him or her for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Its twin in the same color and frame is the Infinity Gold Python Turquoise - same shade, different skin, an easy pair for couples.

A mineral texture in a mineral color

Stingray leather is the only material in the Infinity collection that is partly mineral. The hide carries thousands of calcified beads, each a separate hard dome roughly as tough as tooth enamel, which is why the surface reads as texture from across a room rather than only up close. Put that surface in turquoise and something specific happens: the pale bead crowns scattered over a blue-green ground look like the flecked face of the stone the color is named after. Infinity Gold Stingray Turquoise is genuine stingray leather on a gold-tone 316L stainless steel frame, with no clasp.

The oldest setting for this color

Turquoise has been set in warm metal for thousands of years because the pairing solves a problem: alone, a blue-green stone reads cold and slightly flat, while gold gives it depth and a place to catch light. The frame here does exactly the job a bezel does on a ring. It is the reason this cuff photographs like jewelry rather than like a leather band with color on it.

The color people choose first

Caligio observes that turquoise is the most-chosen color across the exotic range, ahead of every neutral. The reason is simple enough: black and brown are what a man already owns, and turquoise is the one exotic color that gives a plain outfit its whole personality. A white tee and denim with this on the wrist is a finished look with no other effort involved.

Why a mineral leather survives a bending cuff

Stingray is a mosaic, not a shell. The beads are separate nodes sitting in a leather bed rather than one continuous plate, so when the 316L frame opens or closes, the nodes shift a fraction relative to each other and nothing is asked to stretch. A rigid unbroken surface would craze on the first adjustment. That is precisely why stingray belongs on a cuff, and why this one bends by hand to fine-tune.

What this bracelet is

An open cuff in genuine turquoise stingray on a gold-tone 316L frame, unisex, in three sizes that are three degrees of opening: Small up to 6.7 inches, Medium up to 7.2, Large up to 7.7. Its twin in the same color and frame is Infinity Gold Python Turquoise, and the same texture in black is Infinity Black Stingray Golden. Every exotic leather sits in python and stingray, larger wrists in the XL collection.

Designed in Los Angeles since 2020. Ships gift-boxed.

A mineral surface on a living one

Stingray is leather carrying a coat of calcified beads, close to tooth enamel in hardness. The beads are almost indestructible. The hide holding them is not, and the 316L frame beneath needs nothing at all. Everything below is about the hide.

Stingray is not waterproof

Do not swim in it, shower in it, or leave it soaking. The beads do not care, but water pulls the natural oils out of the skin beneath them; the leather stiffens as it dries and loses the flexible bed the beads sit in. Occasional rain is not a problem. Repeated soaking, and heat applied to wet leather, are what ruin an exotic-skin bracelet. Caligio builds an entire waterproof bracelets collection for the wrist that lives in water.

Clean between the beads, not across them

Everything a cloth cannot reach ends up in the valleys. Skin oil, dust, and cologne settle in the gaps rather than on the domes, which on turquoise shows as a greying of the ground while the pale crowns stay bright, so the whole surface loses its contrast before it ever looks dirty. A dry soft-bristle brush lifts it out in seconds. Never dig with a fingernail, and never chase it with a wet cloth.

A bright color earns the strictest version of the habit

Turquoise is a color carried on a natural skin, and colored leather loses depth if it is soaked repeatedly or left in strong sun. Two rules cover it: keep it dry, and store it out of direct light rather than on a windowsill or a car dashboard. Kept that way, the blue-green holds for years.

The one habit that matters on a cuff

Take it off by sliding it sideways across the flat of your wrist. Do not pry the tips apart every night. The steel tolerates being opened, but the leather at the tips is where the bond is thinnest, and repeated prying is the only realistic way to lift it. Set the opening once, correctly, and then stop adjusting it.

Care

  • Take it off before water, and put it on after cologne, sunscreen, and hand cream.
  • If it gets wet, blot with a towel and dry at room temperature. Never a radiator, a hairdryer, or direct sun.
  • Brush the surface with a dry soft-bristle brush when the ground starts looking dull.
  • Condition two or three times a year with a small amount of leather balm on a cloth.
  • Wipe the gold-tone frame with a soft dry cloth only. No polish, no dips, no ultrasonic cleaner.
  • Store it flat in the Caligio pouch bag, out of direct sun.

What is stingray leather?

Stingray leather, also called shagreen, is hide covered in thousands of calcified beads roughly as hard as tooth enamel. Each bead is a separate dome rather than part of a continuous grain, which is why the surface reads as texture from any distance.

Is this real stingray leather?

Yes. Infinity Gold Stingray Turquoise is faced in genuine stingray leather bonded to a gold-tone 316L stainless steel frame. The beads are real calcified domes you can feel with a fingertip, not a moulded or printed pattern, and their size and spacing differ from bracelet to bracelet.

Why does turquoise stingray look like the stone?

Because the material is partly mineral. The pale calcified bead crowns scattered across a blue-green ground recall the flecked face of turquoise stone, and the gold-tone frame does the job a bezel does on a ring. It is the one leather in the collection that reads as a stone rather than a strap.

Turquoise stingray or turquoise python?

Stingray is a field of separate hard domes and reads as texture from across a room. Python is overlapping keratin scales and reads as pattern up close. Same color, same gold frame, two completely different surfaces, which is what makes them work as a pair for two people.

Why gold with turquoise?

Turquoise has been set in warm metal for thousands of years because it solves a problem: alone, a blue-green reads cold and slightly flat, and gold gives it depth and a place to catch light. Cool steel would leave the same color looking clinical.

What do you wear a turquoise bracelet with?

Anything summer is built on: a white tee, linen, denim, khaki, and a tan. Turquoise reads brightest against neutrals and against skin that has seen some sun, which is why it works as the one piece of color in an otherwise plain outfit.

How can a hard beaded leather sit on a bracelet that bends?

Because stingray is a mosaic rather than a shell. The calcified beads are separate nodes in a leather bed, so when the 316L frame opens or closes they shift a fraction against each other and nothing has to stretch. A continuous rigid surface would craze.

How does a cuff bracelet with no clasp stay on?

By shape rather than by pressure. A 316L stainless steel frame forms a wide shallow arc that stores energy when opened and returns it when released. You slide the cuff over the flat of your wrist and the steel closes behind it.

Is a stingray leather bracelet waterproof?

No. The beads do not care about water, but the leather holding them does: soaking pulls the oils out, the hide stiffens as it dries, and the bead layer loses the flexible bed it sits in. A bright color also loses depth if it is soaked repeatedly. Take it off before swimming, showering, and soaking.

Will this bracelet fit my wrist?

Yes. The three sizes are three degrees of opening rather than three fixed circumferences, and the 316L frame bends by hand. Small reaches 6.7 inches, Medium 7.2, Large 7.7. Above 8 inches, choose an XL cuff. Men and women wear the same three sizes.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.
