The color that is not in the rainbow

Every other color in this line has a wavelength. Fuchsia does not. There is no band of light between red and blue that produces it, so the brain manufactures the color when red and blue cones fire without green in between. It is the one shade here that exists only because you are looking at it, which is a strange and appropriate thing to wear on a wrist. Legacy Fuchsia Braided Leather is a 6mm rope of round-woven genuine leather on a 316L stainless steel box clasp.

Pink is older in menswear than its reputation

The pink shirt has sat in tailoring for a century, worn under navy and grey suits without anyone thinking twice, and fuchsia is that shirt with the saturation turned up. The pairings are the same: navy, charcoal, grey, white, and denim all hold it easily. What changes is the volume, and that is the point of choosing it.

Nobody wears this by accident

Black is bought, brown is inherited from the rest of a wardrobe, navy is safe. Fuchsia is none of those. It is a decision made on purpose and read as one, which makes it the most confident piece in the collection and the one that starts conversations. It is also the easiest Legacy to share, since the color reads the same on any wrist.

A box clasp, which is what fine jewelry uses

The closure is a box clasp, the mechanism fitted to pieces set with stones and made in gold and silver. On diamond bracelets it is the baseline for responsible construction rather than an upgrade: a folded steel tongue is pushed into a hollow box, the tension in the fold springs it open against the inner walls, and it locks with a click you feel through the leather. Two side buttons release it. Caligio builds it in 316L stainless steel, which is what puts it on a $59 bracelet. The line runs 12 colors in the Legacy collection.

Genuine leather

The braid is genuine leather, sourced from official suppliers and woven into a round rope. Leather is a skin and behaves like one: it takes the shape of the wrist over the first few weeks and holds it. A 6mm braid has more material to break in than a thin band, so it settles a little slower and then stays settled for years.

Saturation is the whole product here

A fuchsia only works while it is vivid, so protecting the intensity is the only real task. Two habits do it: the bracelet goes on last, after cologne, sunscreen, and hand cream, since oils flatten a saturated leather faster than a dark one; and it stores flat in its pouch rather than in direct light, because months of strong sun move a fuchsia toward a dusty rose.

316L surgical stainless steel

The box clasp and its tongue are machined from 316L surgical stainless steel, the medical-grade alloy used in surgical implants. Its high chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer, which is why 316L does not rust, does not tarnish, and does not turn skin green. There is no plating on it, so nothing can wear through.

Care

• Keep the leather dry. The steel is unaffected by water, but the leather is what determines how long this bracelet lasts.
• Take it off before swimming, showering, or heavy exercise.
• If it gets wet, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it air dry away from direct heat. Never a hairdryer or a radiator.
• Wipe the braid along its length with a dry cloth. Dust settles in the grooves of a weave rather than on the surface.
• Condition the leather two or three times a year with a small amount of leather balm on a cloth.
• Wipe the steel clasp with a soft dry cloth to keep the polish bright.
• Take it off before applying cologne, sunscreen, or lotion, then put it back on once the skin is dry.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sunlight.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys, and fading comes from thin electroplating. This piece uses neither. Genuine leather touches the skin for most of the bracelet's length, and solid 316L steel handles the rest.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
