Woven leather at full volume

The Prime line carries the woven-leather idea at two scales. The braided models wear it at watch-strap width, quiet and office-ready. Prime Weaving turns the volume up: a wide, flat braid of glossy black leather, thick strands crossing like rope laid by hand, the weave you notice from across the room instead of across the table. It is the same no-logo status language Italian luxury built its name on, spoken here in a louder voice.

The clasp you configure yourself

Prime Weaving closes with a screw-pin D-shackle, the fastener sailing crews have trusted for two centuries, engraved with the Caligio name, and it is the customizable one: at checkout you choose the finish, Silver, Black, Gold, or the C-Type. Four shackles across three sizes means this one bracelet exists in twelve configurations, and the one on your wrist is the one you specified. Spare and replacement shackles live in the bracelet parts collection, so the same braid can change its hardware with your mood.

Rigged like a boat, finished like jewelry

Look closely at the ends and you find the detail most bracelets skip: tight wraps of green and brown cord binding the braid where it meets the shackle, the whipping technique riggers use to finish a rope so it never frays. It is a working detail doing a decorative job, and it is the touch that makes the whole piece read nautical rather than merely woven.

Leather rules, steel exceptions

The D-shackle is stainless steel and needs nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The braid is genuine leather, and leather has one law: it lives long and looks better with age if it stays dry.

Prime Weaving is not waterproof

Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. A braid this thick holds moisture deep in the weave and dries slowly, stiffening as it goes. Occasional rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. Heat is worse than water: never dry leather near a radiator or leave it on a dashboard in summer.

A glossy braid keeps its shine simply

The gloss lives in the leather's finish, and product film is what dulls it: sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream settle into the crossings of the braid. The bracelet goes on last, after everything you spray or rub in. A soft dry cloth revives the surface; a drop of colorless leather conditioner, worked in once in a while, keeps the strands supple. The cord whipping at the ends needs nothing but the same dryness.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Never dry it near heat: radiators and dashboards crack leather.
• Buff with a soft dry cloth; a drop of colorless conditioner keeps the braid supple.
• Check the shackle pin is snug now and then; it threads tight in seconds.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, the safe default for reactive skin, and the braid is natural leather.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
