Gold warmth without gold metal
This is the practical reason to choose yellow stones over clear ones. A clear line set in steel is cool from end to end, and a gold bracelet is warm from end to end. Yellow stones in a steel setting give you both at once: warmth at the stone, cool metal around it. That two-temperature effect is what people usually chase by mixing a gold piece with a steel watch, and here it arrives inside a single bracelet. It also means this works next to either metal on the other wrist rather than committing you to one.

Cubic zirconia is graded A, AAA, AAAAA - commonly written 5A - and the grade describes cut precision and clarity rather than marketing. A loose cut lets too little light back out to carry the colour, and yellow is the least forgiving colour for that: it goes straight to a dull brownish gold rather than staying canary. A 5A cut is what keeps this line reading yellow under indoor light.
Solid steel, no plating
There is no coating on this bracelet, so there is nothing that can wear through at the clasp or along the underside, which is where every plated piece fails first. Stainless steel does not tarnish, does not rust, and has no copper in it to mark the skin. The colour of the metal is the metal itself.
The clasp is the whole security
A tennis bracelet is the one bracelet style with no safety chain and no cord running through it. If the closure lets go, the entire line goes with it. This one uses a box clasp: a folded metal tongue slides into a hollow box and springs open against the inner walls, holding by its own tension until it is deliberately pressed to release.
Where the name came from
The style was called an eternity or line bracelet until the 1987 US Open, when American player Chris Evert's diamond line bracelet came off mid-match and play was paused while she recovered it. The press renamed it the tennis bracelet and the older names disappeared. What failed that day was a clasp, which is why the closure deserves as much attention as the stones.

The metal needs nothing
Stainless steel will not tarnish, will not rust, and will not turn the skin green. Its chromium content forms a self-repairing oxide layer, which is the reason the same alloy family is used for surgical tools. There is no plating anywhere on this bracelet, so there is nothing that can wear off at the clasp or along the underside, which is where every plated piece fails first.
Yellow shows a dirty stone faster than any other colour
A yellow stone reads bright because light enters the crown, travels through the colour, and comes back out. Block that path and yellow does not simply dim - it turns a dull brownish gold, which is a more obvious failure than a clear stone going slightly grey. The cause is always the same: a film of skin oil on the underside of the settings. Wiping the back of the line with a dry lint-free cloth brings the canary back, and once a week is enough.
Water
Rain, sweat, and a rinse under the tap do nothing to the steel. Chlorine is the one thing worth avoiding: pool water leaves a film that dulls cubic zirconia faster than anything else, so take the bracelet off before swimming. Soap does the same more slowly, which is why the shower is worth skipping too.
The clasp
The box clasp is the only moving part. Press the tongue home until you feel it seat, and open it by releasing the clasp rather than pulling on the stone line. Keep lotion out of the mechanism, since residue inside the box is what makes a clasp feel gritty over time.
Care
- Put it on last, after cologne and any skincare, and take it off first at the end of the day.
- Wipe the underside of the stone line with a dry lint-free cloth about once a week.
- Rinse under clean water when it needs it, then dry it fully with a soft cloth.
- Take it off before swimming. Chlorine dulls the stones.
- Avoid abrasive pastes and ultrasonic cleaners, which can work a prong loose.
- Close the clasp before storing, and keep it flat in the Caligio pouch bag rather than loose in a drawer.

Will it turn my wrist green?
No. Green marks come from copper in brass and alloy bracelets, and fading comes from thin plating wearing through. This is solid stainless steel with no coating on it, so there is nothing to wear off and no copper to react with skin.
Which size should I take?
Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper and add roughly half an inch. Small covers up to 6.9 inches, Large up to 8 inches. The bracelet should turn freely and stop at the wrist bone rather than pass over the hand. There is one of each.

Are the stones real citrine or diamonds?
Neither. They are 5A grade cubic zirconia in a yellow colour, lab-made rather than mined. The grade is what carries the look here, since it decides how much light comes back out through the colour.
Can I wear it in water?
The steel is unaffected by water, so rain and sweat are not a problem. Take it off for the pool: chlorine leaves a film that dulls cubic zirconia faster than anything else. Soap does the same more slowly, so the shower is worth skipping too.
How do I keep the colour?

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.
