Look at a corded leather bracelet and ask what is holding your wrist. The answer is the leather. Every time you pull it on, the tension runs through the skin, through the knot, into the clasp. Leather is the structural member, and structural members fail. Infinity is built the other way around. A 316L stainless steel frame forms a wide shallow arc that stores energy when you open it and gives that energy back when you let go. The genuine python leather is bonded to the outside of that arc. It carries nothing. It is not asked to stretch, hold a knot, or survive a clasp. It only has to be python.

Nothing to break, because there is nothing there

A leather bracelet has exactly two failure points and Infinity Black Python has neither. There is no clasp to snap, wear loose, or lose in a hotel room. There is no closure knot to work its way open across a day. You do not fasten this bracelet. You open it slightly, slide it over the flat of your wrist, and let the steel close behind you. It holds by shape rather than by pressure, which is why people forget they are wearing it.

Python is the leather luxury houses put on their costliest small goods, and the number on the tag has always been set by the name on the box rather than the hide inside it. What this bracelet is

An open cuff on a 316L stainless steel frame, faced in genuine black python leather, with no clasp. Three sizes, which are three degrees of opening rather than three fixed circumferences: Small up to 6.7 inches, Medium up to 7.2 inches, Large up to 7.7 inches. Unisex. Two materials, one of which is alive

The 316L stainless steel frame needs nothing from you. It does not rust, tarnish, or lose its spring. The python leather bonded to it is skin, and skin has requirements. Everything below is about the leather.

Python is not waterproof

Do not swim in it, shower in it, or leave it soaking. Water pulls the natural oils out of leather; the fiber stiffens as it dries, and the next flex cracks it. On a cuff the damage appears first where the arc curves most, and at the scale edges, which are the thinnest part of the surface. Occasional rain is not a problem. Repeated soaking, and heat applied to wet leather, are what ruin an exotic-skin bracelet. Caligio builds an entire waterproof bracelets collection for the wrist that lives in water.

The one habit that matters on a cuff

Take it off by sliding it sideways across the flat of your wrist. Do not pry the tips apart every night. The steel tolerates being opened, but the leather at the tips is where the bond is thinnest, and repeated prying is the only realistic way to lift it. Set the opening once, correctly, and then stop adjusting it.

Care

• Take it off before water, and put it on after cologne, sunscreen, and hand cream.
• If it gets wet, blot with a towel and dry at room temperature. Never a radiator, a hairdryer, or direct sun.
• Wipe along the scales with a dry cloth, never against them. A cloth run backward lifts scale edges.
• Condition two or three times a year with a small amount of leather balm on a cloth.
• Wipe the steel frame with a soft dry cloth.
• Store it flat in the Caligio pouch bag, away from direct sun. Do not stack anything on top of it.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
