The founder's grandfather used to say he saw bracelets like these at fairs back in the 1970s, and we believe him. The flat-braided rope bracelet closed with a steel shackle belongs to no one: sailors, fairs, and harbor towns passed it around for decades before any label touched it, which is exactly why it never goes out of style. Caligio has built it since the brand's first day in 2019, and the Nautical Grey is its most modern voice.

The color of a harbor in fog

Grey is the quiet one of the fleet: the tone of morning fog on the water, weathered dock wood, and overcast sails. It is also the most versatile neutral in menswear, sitting as naturally against denim as against a charcoal suit, and the tricolor whipping at the ends, cream, navy, and black wraps, gives the muted band its one deliberate flash of rigging.

The clasp you choose yourself

The screw-pin D-shackle, engraved with the Caligio name, is the fastener sailing crews have trusted for two centuries, and it is customizable: Silver, Black, or Gold at checkout. Silver-on-grey is tonal and architectural; gold warms the fog. Three finishes across four sizes means twelve configurations, and spare shackles live in the bracelet parts collection.

Cotton rules, steel exceptions

The shackle is stainless steel and needs nothing: no rust, no tarnish, ever. The rope is natural cotton, and cotton has one law: it keeps its shape and color if it stays dry.

The Nautical is not a swimming bracelet

Ironic for the name, but honest: braided cotton holds water deep in the weave, dries slowly, and stiffens as it goes. Take it off before the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Rain drops are not an event, just towel them off. For a bracelet that actually lives in water, Caligio builds the marine-rope Fortune collection and solid steel pieces.

Keeping grey clean

A mid-tone hides dust better than black and stains better than white, which makes grey the lowest-maintenance color of the fleet. Product film is still the one enemy: the bracelet goes on last. A soft dry brush lifts dust from the weave; spot-clean with a barely damp cloth and let it air-dry away from heat.

Care

• Put it on last, after sunscreen, cologne, and hand cream.
• Keep it out of the shower, the pool, and the ocean. Towel off rain drops.
• Air-dry away from radiators and direct sun.
• Brush the braid with a soft dry brush; spot-clean with a barely damp cloth.
• Check the shackle pin is snug now and then; it threads tight in seconds.
• Store it in the Caligio pouch bag.

Skin sensitivity

Green wrist marks come from copper alloys. The shackle is stainless steel, nickel-free and copper-free, and the rope is natural cotton: the safe combination for reactive skin.

To define the correct sizing of your wrist, we highly recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand. However, if you do not have a special measure, use a small piece of tape or a cord. Wrap it around your wrist and measure the length against a ruler.

Plenty of Caligio’s Cuff bracelets are adjustable and comfortably fit most of the standard wrist sizes. Slip-on cuff bracelets sizes are easily increased and decreased with bare hands. Your orders are picked, packed, and shipped the same day from Los Angeles, California. The products ordered after 2PM PST are shipped the very next working day. The shipping department is on duty Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.

Make sure to pick up your order in time to avoid any negative carry-outs after the product is delivered, as Caligio doesn’t take any responsibilities for orders after the status changes to Delivered. Please note that the below-mentioned delivery timings are taken from the official websites of the delivery providers and may vary depending on the carriers delivery speed. International orders may be applicable for local taxes on top of the delivery costs.

Please note, sometimes delivery providers may come up with a shipment delay due to the restrictions issued by countries' governments in these challenging times. Therefore, there may be cases when the package arrives several days after you receive a delivery notification.

If you ordered the wrong size, color, or simply would like to return the product, you can do so within 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and in its original packaging, free from any odors (deodorant, perfume), stains, or signs of wear. The original gift box and velvet pouch must be included - returns without original packaging will not be accepted. Please note that a $9.99 shipping and handling fee applies to all domestic returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Once your return is approved, please send the item(s) back within 7 days. 

For exchanges within the US, your first exchange is completely free and will be dispatched within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the item. Subsequent exchanges are at the customer's expense.
